College events are inseparable parts of a college life and are set to influence the life of a student in every way. The day from when you step into a college you become a part of the college life. The college events happen, as a result, to groom the very student and make him/her an ardent disciple of the educational institution. Well, this is true with every college in the world. But it must be said that this concept also varies between countries. Why and how? In this regard the culture of a country plays a highly important role. Take for example India and the United States of America. There is a huge difference between these two countries in each and every respect ranging from economy, commerce to cuisine, culture and others. This difference of opinion represents two separate cultures that are distinct in every respect. For which the thought process and the way of looking at things is also different.

There is also a great difference between the educational environments of the two countries. While in US there is the presence of a coherent atmosphere, in India the system is quite rigid and abides by the rules of the Indian culture. The college events in India include workshops, socials, cultural events and there is also the preponderance of the national events. However till now any performance in the cat walks is simply unbelievable.

On the contrary the college events in US are highly different. Wrestling in the length and breadth of US is an important sport and hence is also admired in the school and university levels. College wrestling is a form of wrestling that is practiced at the university levels and on every year lots of events are organized to observe this. Can you find the same in India? In no way since it’s not a part of the Indian culture.
